Refund Policy for Digital and Custom Website Services

This refund policy explains how Jasper Web Experts handles payments, digital downloads, custom website development, electronic deliverables, and statutory consumer rights in the United States, Canada, the European Union, Spain, and other applicable markets.

No refunds for digital, electronic, and custom work

Because Jasper Web Experts provides digital services, electronic deliverables, website files, custom website development, custom website redesign, ecommerce website development, SEO and website development work, strategy documents, design files, and other non-tangible work products, payments are generally non-refundable once work begins, files are delivered, access is granted, or a download is made available.

This policy applies to website development, redesign work, digital assets, custom code, website copy, design mockups, ecommerce setup, template downloads, and other electronic deliverables provided by Jasper Web Experts.

Custom service deposits and project payments

Deposits, retainers, milestone payments, rush fees, planning fees, strategy fees, and custom project payments are non-refundable because they reserve project time and compensate work performed or prepared specifically for the client. If a project is cancelled, paused, delayed, or abandoned by the client, amounts already paid remain non-refundable except where a mandatory law requires otherwise.

Digital downloads and electronic delivery

For digital downloads, templates, files, reports, audits, design assets, code files, or other electronic items, all sales are final once the customer confirms access, delivery, or download. Before receiving access to a download, customers may be required to check a confirmation box acknowledging that the item is digital or custom in nature and that the order is non-refundable except where required by law.

EU Digital Download Withdrawal Waiver

For EU, EEA, and Spain customers, use this confirmation before releasing any downloadable files, electronic products, custom code, website assets, templates, reports, or digital deliverables at the time of purchase.

I expressly consent to immediate access, delivery, or download of the digital product before the end of any applicable withdrawal period. I acknowledge that once access, delivery, or download begins, I lose my right of withdrawal or refund for that digital product, except where mandatory law gives me non-waivable rights.

Do not provide the download link or final digital files until this box has been checked and confirmed.

European Union and Spain withdrawal-waiver notice

If you are a consumer located in the European Union, Spain, or another jurisdiction that provides a statutory withdrawal period for online purchases, you may have a legal right to withdraw from certain distance contracts. However, for digital content, digital services, or custom work made available immediately, Jasper Web Experts may require your express consent to begin performance or provide access before the withdrawal period expires and your acknowledgement that you may lose your withdrawal right once performance, access, delivery, or download begins.

For EU and Spain customers, no digital download, electronic file, custom deliverable, or immediate-access digital service should be released until the customer has affirmatively checked the withdrawal-waiver confirmation where required. If local law gives you rights that cannot be waived, this policy does not limit those rights.

United States and Canada statutory-rights carve-out

Nothing in this refund policy limits rights that cannot legally be waived under applicable United States federal or state law, Canadian federal, provincial, or territorial law, or other consumer protection laws. If a deliverable is not provided as agreed, is materially different from what was purchased, or a mandatory law requires a refund or remedy, Jasper Web Experts will follow the applicable law.

Chargebacks and payment disputes

Please contact Jasper Web Experts through the website contact form before opening a chargeback or payment dispute. Chargebacks filed after work has begun, digital access has been granted, or custom deliverables have been provided may be contested with proof of order, project communication, delivery, access, download confirmation, and this refund policy.

When Jasper Web Experts may offer a remedy

Although payments are generally non-refundable, Jasper Web Experts may choose, at its discretion, to provide revisions, corrections, replacement files, partial credit, or another reasonable remedy when appropriate. Any discretionary remedy does not create a general refund right or change this policy for future purchases.
